Comparison drives growth.
Before the internet you were just comparing yourself with two or three people who were relevant to what you were upto, some could be your friends or some relatives.
Internet comes into play.
And now you are at any moment could be comparing yourself to hundreds of people at once, your mind jumping from one aspiration to the other and to the other simultaneously as you jump from one profile to other and to the other.
There's no constraint or limit associated to it, now you compare yourself with people you don't even know and feel upset that you are not enough.
So do you get it, it is not a fair comparison, because its not one to one, your mind physiologically isn't processing all these variants of profiles as isolated individual one to one comparison, instead your brain thinks that all the other people doing one different-different activity as one single unit or a single person doing heap of activities.
And that my friend is how the internet fucks you up.
