### quiesce "Quiesce" is a verb that means to become quiet or calm. The first time I read the word, I felt complete, it sounded "me". This site on the internet is the place where I can return and be familiar with everything and feel belonged. If there's one word which can describe this feeling, it definitely has to be "[[hygge]]". In computer science, the term "quiesce" is often used to refer to pausing or altering the state of running processes on a computer, particularly processes that are disruptive or that could corrupt data if they were allowed to continue running. In the medical field, it might refer to a state where a cell or organ is in a state of inactivity or dormancy.
